Austin has been in rare form today. Shaun just told me that Austin makes his head hurt, from laughter and frustration.
Right now, he and Tyler are supposed to be in our bedroom watching some cartoons (and falling asleep). Instead we found out they were in there drawing. Austin just came out to show us his drawing. He completely avoided me, knowing I was going to make him go to bed. So he is on the other side of the room with his back to me, eye to eye with his daddy asking -
"Just one more, okay daddy? Alright? Just one more?" with big pleading brown eyes.
Shaun is sitting there with his hand over his mouth so Austin can't see him trying not to laugh.
As Austin starts pleading again, I ask, "Why is he going to you? Because he knows that Daddy is just a big sucker?"
Immediately Austin flips around, brows furrowed.
"Did you say sucker, mommy? Do we have suckers?"
I guess I need to be more careful next time what I say.
